Coffee? Really…?

Ron | December 29, 2005
I like coffee. A lot. I am honestly not sure how much I drink on a daily basis, but I’m sure it’s well above the average. Whenever possible (financially) I buy really good whole beans and grind them right before brewing - I’ve even been tempted to join the ranks of home roasters after my sampling of what a simple hot-air popcorn popper can do for green coffee beans.

All of that is to explain how I ended up at this site, reading about…coffee enemas. Yep, you read that right. As much as I like coffee, that just seems like the wrong way to enjoy it.

What a waste of perfectly good coffee. Besides, if

What a waste of perfectly good coffee. Besides, if you really want a coffee enema, just go to Starbucks.

Good luck with the home roasting. Sounds like that could be a fun hobby. I’ve got a friend who took up home brewing (beer) and has a blast doing it. He’s currently got a batch of a British Bitter Ale that is supposed to be pretty good. Can’t wait to try it.

I’ll let you know how it goes once (if) I get started. I homebrew too so I can identify with that as well. It’s been awhile since I’ve brewed up a batch though, maybe a new year’s batch is in order.
